Volcano Lodge

Experience the therapeutic properties of natural thermal springs during your stay at Volcano Lodge, as well as enjoying all the activities at nearby Arenal Volcano. It’s a winning combination of adventure and relaxation that appeals to all ages.

The hotel makes great use of the mineral rich hot springs. They are used to feed the two pools in the gardens, where you can bathe beneath waterfalls, and sip a drink from the swim-up bar. The springs also flow into private plunge pools for guests staying in thermal rooms and suites. As well as being a pleasurable experience, swimming in the warm thermal waters helps you benefit from their health-bestowing qualities. Further therapies such as massages, body wraps and scrubs are available at the spa.

The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast each morning and specialises flavourful Costa Rican fare at lunch and dinner times. It is open to the front, so you can take in views of Arenal Volcano and listen to waterfalls as you eat. The adjoining bar is a popular place to relax, while at the lobby bar you can play a game of pool and catch up with sports on the TV.

Rooms are more than a place to sleep, they provide a comfy place to unwind, each having a private terrace overlooking the gardens, some with a plunge pool. Inside they are cooled by air conditioning and ceiling fans, have coffee making facilities and a small fridge where you can keep refreshments.
